Purpose

FSM exists to equip students as Christ-followers as they face their middle and high school years. Our goal is to come alongside teens and their parents to equip and disciple them as they face these unique years.  Our discipleship is focused on the themes of Christian Story (the story of the Bible and where we fit), Christian Belief (what we believe and why) and Christian Practice (putting what we believe into practice).

When We Meet

We meet Sundays at 9:30 AM where we typically focus on the idea of Biblical literacy. We believe the most important way to survive the teen years is to base our lives on God's Word, so during this time, we dive into Scripture to learn about God and His will for us. Unfortunately, many studies show that most Christians know very little about their Bibles, so we are trying to reverse that course at FSM.

We also meet Sunday evenings at 7:00 PM. Our goal is for this to be a fun, exciting atmosphere that friends can be invited to in order to hear the good news about Jesus and what He's done for them. We play games, sing songs, look into God's Word, and have small group time with the youth leaders, all with the goal of helping us grow closer to God and closer to each other.

Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM is our midweek service. We gather to worship God, study the Bible, and have fun doing so.  There's also an opportunity for any 9th-12th graders to volunteer in our kids ministry, if they are interested.

Other Info

We have monthly activities that we'd enjoy having you be a part of. Some are service related, some parent focused, and some are just to hang out and be teenagers.
